ASK US ANYTHING. SERIOUSLY.
How do I know if I need to re-pipe my home?
Most homes built before 1978 are made of GALVANIZED LEAD-FILLED steel pipes which can cause the following symtoms.
Low water pressure
Water fluctuation when water is used at two or more locations
Rusty water
Temperature fluctuation
Leaky pipes
Slow or no draining (which occurs at least once a year or more
If your home was built after 1985 and you notice your floor is warm or hot and/or you hear running water and if no water is being used you should be repiping.
Why not have my plumber do the job?
Plumbing and re-piping are very different skills. Re-piping requires having several specialists working independently under the direction of an experienced foreman. The foreman plans and directs the activities in a logical, orderly sequence and ensures that each task is accomplished with precision, accuracy and in a timely way. We specialize in repiping with
(A) PEX UPONOR or USA type (L) Hard Copper and because of our expertise, we are able to ensure your 100% satisfaction.
Is there any prep I need to do before the installation?
Remove any items from under your sinks or from the closets where the walls will be opened for the re-pipe installation. If you have any questions about this, you can call our office for more information.
Will my water be turned off for a prolonged period of time?
Yes. Your water will be off for 6 to 10 hours on the first day of repipe, usually between 8 am and 6 pm. At the end of the first day you will have hot and cold water to all of your fixtures.
Who do I call if I have questions during or after the job is done?
Your job will be assigned to a foreman and superintendent who will oversee the installation of your new PEX/Copper pipes and provide technical assistance as needed.
Will my house be dirty and cluttered while the job is in progress?
Our crews are trained to keep your home as neat and clean as possible during the re-pipe. They will protect the floors and clean the house of debris each day before leaving.
Is there a warranty on the work?
Yes, we offer a lifetime transferable warranty on all Repipes performed.
